    st. lucia photo diary

Finally found some time to upload pictures taken on my trip to St. Lucia.  I still can’t believe some of the breathtaking scenery I witnessed during the two-day boating excursion down the coast of the island — hands down the best part of my weeklong trip.  Part of me wanted to selfishly keep this a secret, but it would just be wrong considering my experience.  Next time you find yourself in St. Lucia, you’ll have to experience it for yourself.   In the meantime, here are some cloud-heavy images for your visual pleasure.  Wearing:  Foley + Corinna kimono | Mink Pink bikini | Pencey dress

It was only up until recently that I really began embracing my above-the-knee separates with heels.  Shorts and skirts have both been equally appreciated in my wardrobe, especially during this time of year in New York when temperatures reach the state of unbearable, but if I had it my way, I’d prefer hiding my legs behind loose-fitted pants or black skinnies, but that type of anti-social behavior can only get one so far.

Whenever I decide on a day look with some short separates, I usually gravitate toward pairing them with blazers, a clean pair of heels, and some dramatic accessories.  These accessories especially have been in heavy rotation — the nOir cuff and holographic clutch.  I’m not sure which one which ones more dramatic though — the clutch or the cuff?

There are many variations of Greek salads.  One of my favorites originates from Jack’s Wife Freda in SoHo where kale, feta, and pickled red onions are married to the taste of perfection.
