The Spicy Stiletto

Winter days in California remind me of spring in New York where a slight chill can still leave you warm enough to sport a pair of shorts (particularly those of the leather variety). It’s days like these that make me miss the west coast so much, and where I’m also reminded how a good basic like a pair of leather shorts can go a long way in a rather complex wardrobe like mine. I guess it didn’t take long for me to retract to my former California self — where short shorts have no season (and beach waves are mandatory), but then again who’d pass up an opportunity to wear shorts in the winter?
