The Spicy Stiletto

 Bombers are the new denim jacket, just as kale was/is the new spinach, and blogging the new black.  A good departure from the usual darker denim, leather and other climate-appropriate pieces normally seen right around this time of year, bomber jackets are just as essential.  I’ve always loved the idea of combining sporty pieces with more luxe separates, and this jacket with its varsity-like details and blush silk combines the best of both.  Worn for my more casual meetings earlier this week, a variation of this outfit is essentially what you’ll find me sporting these days — thick-heeled boots, skinny jeans, and a bag that carries just about everything, and easily transitions from day to night.
